Dal should have been doing her homework but nothing was really holding her attention. Not the guy that she was studying with, not the class, and certainly not the assignment. Her pencil tapped on the book as she tried to concentrate. Slowly her mind switched over to her sister. God, she missed her so much. It was amazing how much her life had changed over the last three years. Now she was at school, part of the popular crowd around the city, and leading the way around the same city in many ways. However, there were still parts of her that was like that little girl that kept to herself.
It was the start of a big change after her sisters party her freshman year. Even if she didn’t remember most of the night before, the feelings that came with not wanting to be who she was before. She ran her fingertips through her hair as Rachel and her signed into the school at the front office.
When she got home she’d go through all of the clothes that she had gotten. There really wasn’t any time for it before class. She grabbed a shirt out of Rachel’s closet along with a pair of jeans. It really helped out that they wore the same size clothing. The tank top was a sheer blue, the hugged her curves, leaving just a little bit of her tanned skin showing above her jeans. Her jeans were tight with the rips at the knees.
It was amazing how a little time with her sister and new clothes gave her a different outlook on everything. Even her sister had told her that she had been like her, even if that was in the seventh grade, but knowing that she had been that way gave Rachel a little more confidence. That was all years ago before she even moved to the Florida coast. It would seem like that was years ago and that she was a completely different person during that time.
Finally she looked up from her book again. "Okay... Must get work done." She mused to herself but hoped that something entertaining would come along.
