Melanie woke up early on a beautifully sunny Friday morning. She could hear the waves washing up onto the beach through her open window. The smell of the sea invaded her nostrils and she sat up with a smile. Mel loved waking up to the beautiful sounds and smells of the beach; it set her day off well. If anyone were to be rude to her, or try and upset her during the day, she knew that she could just think back to the peaceful wonders of the ocean. Melanie stood up and stretched her arms up high, today was going to be great.

Rosalinda Anne Strudwick would play an important role in Melanie’s great day. They were going to have a girl’s day at the nail salon and just relax a bit, and she guessed that they would catch up. It had been a while since she and Rosa had just sat down and talked and she was pretty excited to get to hang out with one of her best friends. She and Rosa were pretty close and they could talk about whatever with each other. She loved that, Mel loved having a good girl pal that she could just be herself with and not worry that she would be judged about things. Of course being friends with Rosa meant that she was friends with the IT girl, and no one would fuck with her.

Mel walked to the bathroom and started her shower. She liked them nice and warm. She turned on her stereo and turned the volume knob as far as it would go before she stripped and jumped under the warm water. Once she was done she dried off and walked to her closet. She didn’t want to wear pants for two reasons, it was pretty warm outside, and she would have to roll them up to get her pedicure. So, Melanie decided on a pair of distressed shorts and a simple black tank. She finished by putting on her sandals and sitting down to do her make-up and straighten her long blonde hair. Finally she was done and ready to go. She grabbed her phone and keys and she was off to the nail salon. Once she arrived she waited inside for Rosa.
