It's been a while since Tinsley was at Anderson's house. Last time she was there, it was Christmas and she was decorating her boyfriend's house. She kept meaning to get back over there but with her work schedule and his, well they hadn't been able to see each other in a while.
But all of that was about to change. Tinsley got a call from her agency, telling her that she needed to move out of Key West and move to Europe. Tinsley just about broke down in tears, she didn't know what to do about Anderson and she had other things on her mind other than moving. She ended the call and then looked up from her cell phone to her home. She took in all of it's features, all grand and elegant. She was really going to miss this place, her friends that she has gotten to know, She wouldn't miss Rosa because they work for the same company so they would see each other here and there, that part would be good. But mostly, she would miss Anderson. She loved him so much and she didn't want to lose these seven months that they've been together.
About an hour later, Tinsley was in tears, she had told Anderson what's going on and he snapped on her. It as even to the point where she cursed at him. And Anderson knew that Tinsley was not one to curse, ever. She knew what she had to do to make all of this right. Tinsley picked up the phone and called her agency. She called and told them that she was going to stay here in Key West, permanently. Which in English terms meant that she just quit.
She told Anderson this and he insisted that she came over after she told him her reasonings for staying. And plus they had a baby due in a few months, Tins was not going to leave Anderson. But the only way that she agreed to go to his house was if he sobered up. And when he said that he had, Tinsley told him to give her fifteen minutes, that she would be at his house then.
It actually more turned into thirty minutes later and she was now pulling up to Anderson's home. He didn't live in the best part of town but she didn't care. Tinsley didn't care about how much money he had or where he lived, all that mattered was that they were together. She parked her car, got out and headed up to the door. Tins pulled out her key that Anderson had given her a long time back and she unlocked the door and headed inside.
Once she was in there, she shut the door behind her, dropped her bag by the door and then looked around, "Anderson?!" She called out to him as she made her way to his living room, "Babe. you here?" She said as she walked further. She was actually excited to see him, but not happy that he had been so upset with her before. She didn't like being mad at him, or vice versa.

Anderson wasn’t going to lie. He was really fired up right then, everything that he had held off on because he knew what was going to happen… crashed around him. Their love affair wasn’t something that he just allowed himself to become involved in because Anderson was never that reckless. Too often he had seen those that he loved swallowed up by love and spit out. His mother had fallen in love with someone that was here on business for a year once. Only to find out that the man left, he was married and had a family of his own back in New York City. Needless to say, Anderson never had the urge to find his father. Ever.
These were the reasons that Anderson never wanted to fall in love. However, it would seem that he didn’t really have a choice when it came to Tinsley. He became her friend first and then slowly he began to realize the person that she really was. Anderson cracked open another beer and allowed the bubbles to form against his throat. Something had to give. Why would God place someone so beautiful in front of him like he could have her and then yank her away? Why would God make her perfect for him but yank her away just like he took away his own father?
He crumbled his beer can in his hand and threw it against the wall. There sat a pile of beer cans on the other side of his home. It wasn’t the best that money could buy but he had put a lot of work into the place with his own hands. New plaster on the walls or sheet rock, new windows, new flooring, and he had done it all with his own hands in his spare tie from work. Then he heard her. His feet slowly moved along the floor when he saw her. “I don’t blame you for leaving. This isn’t the part of town you should be living on and I can’t give you anything else. Not now at least. You deserve… something better than me. Not that I want you to have anything else but you deserve it.” There were parts of Anderson that were still very selfish.
He wasn’t perfect but she made him want to try.
